Welcome to 23 Scholarly Communication Things, developed by QUT Library.

This resource is for anyone with an interest in learning more about the scholarly communication process. It is a doorway to the scholarly publishing lifecycle, rather than a how-to guide.

This resource is structured to reflect the scholarly publishing process from pre-conception to post publication, measuring the success or impact of that research output through publication metrics in its various guises.

Choose whether to start at the beginning and work your way through, or only do those parts that interest you. Each chapter is broken into three parts – Getting Started, Learn More and Challenge Me –  with activities, exercises and things to consider, dispersed throughout.
