3. Design assessment

The third stage in embedding student digital capabilities into the curriculum is to review, refine and revise the assessment design in the units identified and mapped in stage 2. There are a wide range of assessment types suitable for assessing digital capabilities. Choose the most appropriate assessment type to assure student achievement of the required digital capabilities at each developmental level.

Use the table below to generate ideas of appropriate assessment types for each digital capability subelement at each developmental learning level. Note that this list of assessment types is not exhaustive, and the level of learning will depend on the assessment context.
