2. Design assessment

The second step in the assessment design for digital capabilities is to identify assessment types suitable for assessing the digital capability.

These assessment types will be matched to QUT Assessment types.

Here are some examples below:

• Poster  – a digital representational work
  • creating infographics
  • creating PowerPoints
  • creating a poster representing research work

• Recorded/rendered creative work – work created through a recording
  • creating a film, video or podcast
  • creative 3D models, including digital outputs of architectural and design projects
  • creating computer programs, games and visual artworks

• Design – a 2D or 3D representation of an object or system
  • Using digital tools to create
    • drawing
    • structure
    • flow chart
    • concept map

• Portfolio
  • electronic portfolio
